WE recently completed the electronics installation on the Ak Bars at Hepworth Shipyard in Hull and for South Boats Special Projects the Cemaes Bay, a 20m fast cat and the Rhoscolyn Head. Last year we supplied and installed packages on two 35m tugs, the Ak Burkut at Hull, and the Afon Cadnant, at Sepers in Holland. Other recent “fit outs” include the Afon Caradog, a 25m tug for Holyhead Towing, Sir John Murray, a 24m survey vessel for SEPA, the Minna and the Jura, two new fishery protection vessels; the fishing vessel King Explorer; The St Oswald, a new 20m fishery protection vessel for Northumberland; the Afon Cefni, a 20m Tug and the Lochnevis, a 50m ferry for Caledonian MacBrayne.
Our Kip office specialises in the leisure market. Refits of larger sailing vessels are occupying the team with an Aluminium 68ft yacht having up to date gear fitted along with new power systems. An Oyster 57 is booked in for similar work in the early spring. The team are very happy to quote for the smallest job to a complete refit.
